Wonderful impressions of the night, Zack. I was really taken with Tim Fite. His performance art-inspired music is best experienced live. I wasn't too thrilled with his CD, but his ability to connect with a crowd was really impressive.
I found the Watson Twins to be consummate pros, and their music -- while not for those who are luke warm to alt country -- is really grows on you after a number of listens. As I said in my review they remind me a bit of Cowboy Junkies, but my wife was saying that she hears a lot of early Texas in their sound.

Thanks, Ted. The Cowboy Junkies comment made a lot of sense to me - I can see where that comes from. I'm going to make sure my friends in New York know about Tim Fite and go see him play - it really is a dish best served live.
