it's hard not to admire Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways... his Newman's Own line is high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes too, it's a win-win

Newman is dead, but with him goes a generation of stars that held their appeal and credibility pretty much to the end. Too bad Al Pacino isn't a Popdose reader.

Not to minimize his efforts, but Newman's Own has donated $250 million in total - not in the past year.
