At least Hillary Duff didn't do a cover of it too.

Awesome man. Simply Awesome. I actually quite enjoy the crunk version.

I read Wham!'s biography recently (yes, really!) and come to think of it - I don't remember more than 2 words about Andrew Ridgeley.

That Folds/Wainwright thing is a keeper. Just enough drama, just enough whimsy. Kinda like when Robbie Fulks covers "Believe" or "Dancing Queen."

As for all of these Wham! photos, obviously America knew they were the gayest thing since Paul Lynde and played along, right?

    Right???

Garfunkel, a "pop culture joke"? Matthew, you're killin' me!

Even though Simon was the creative force behind S&G, Art's harmonies and solos made the duo greater than the sum of its parts. And "Bridge Over Troubled Water" alone, in which he gives one of the greatest vocal performances ever, should preclude him from ever being lumped in with Oates and (shudder) Frehley.

And yet he is. Not my opinion at all, I should have noted; but, I think I've heard some version of a "Garfunkel and Oates" joke in rock criticism at least a half-dozen times.
