That saved it right there.

Otherwise, this is exactly why I stopped listening to radio. Puddle of Mudd? 3 Doors Down? I can't remember the last time anyone mentioned these bands in conversation - let alone bought one of their records - and yet apparently, they still get airplay.

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

that should actually say "when videos actually used to have storylines and a point."

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

That Death Cab video is great. Reminds me of videos actually used to have storylines and a point. Apparently the Death Cab kids remember those days too!

The Weezer tune is great as well. Almost like they listened to the blue album, and got back to why they do what they do. That's certainly the blue album guitar tone...and I LOVE that!

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

Weezer has never really taken themselves seriously, so why should I?

You mean 3 Doors Down is still recording? I thought they went the way of Creed and Bush. Drat.

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

In the trumped up BS war between The Bravery and The Killers, who won, exactly? Certainly not the listeners......

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

While I confess to actually liking Jack White's stuff I will explain why it's good this way:
It's not Puddle of Mudd or 3 Doors Down. That should count for something.

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

That Bravery song was the first single when their second album was released back in, 1935 was it? Now we're getting it again because the album has been re-released in a "deluxe" version.

Hi, End of the Record Industry!

Re: Billboarding: 5/5/08

I can't believe that that Bravery album is still being milked for singles. It's been out forever!
