Popdose: Blu-ray Review: “I Love You, Man”

You know, I really liked this film ... and not because it featured Rush. One part of the movie I found effective (and novel) was Rudd's awkwardness around guys and how he's most comfortable connecting with women.

But once he falls in "guy love" with Segel, there's a point in the movie where it's clear that for many guys in their 30s, this can be a time in their life where they lose deep connections with other guys and the isolation leads to them being wary of poker playing/beer drinking louts like Rudd's future BIL, or in constant competition with other guys in business.
