I read an advance copy a few months ago. I enjoyed the book thoroughly, but I'm a music guy, and the story hit home for me.
Love your shout out to "Underworld," probably my favorite novel.

a statement about the main character in About A Boy at the beginning of the review above is incorrect. The protagonist was not a former pop singer. His father had a one hit Christmas song and the son lives off the royalties.
