The part about Graham asking the audience "where he can score some H after the show" is a joke. So are the other between-song "interludes" I've listed inside brackets.

It's true that I don't like Air Supply. It's also true that I don't hate them. Hate is a strong word.

I think all you have done here is to say you don't like them while trying to make it sound like that's not the case. You'd be perfect for upper management in a Federal Agency. Double talk rules, I know I work for one. Anyway it is a terrific concert even though I actually heard it on another site. I'd still love to hear the stuff where he asks the crowd where he can get some drugs. I honestly think if that and the other stuff that supposedly happened at this concert came out it might actually make them seem cooler to a lot of people.

I don't hate Air Supply by any means. I was just responding to a comment from "arensb" in 2009 and stating my own opinion.

As for why I posted an Air Supply concert in the first place, I used what was given to me. If you look at other Bootleg City posts from 2009 and '10, you'll see that I featured concerts by a lot of bands I wasn't a fan of, but instead of spending time disparaging them in the body of the text — to each his own, after all, because I probably like a lot of bands that other people don't like, and vice versa — I tried to tell stories and jokes that incorporated those bands, similar to what "SCTV" used to do when it featured musical guests during its years on NBC.

If you love Air Supply, more power to you. If you don't love, say, Simply Red or Jamiroquai, more power to me, I guess. It all balances out.

I feel the same way. I love soft rock, but there isn't a single Air Supply song I like. I guess I'd pick "Every Woman in the World" if I had to pick one, but that's not saying much. It's appropriate that the first song in the 10/22/82 set is "I Can't Get Excited." They're trying to tell you something, audience!

I saw 'em in 2004, and their voices were shot, out of tune, etc. Not that I could have done any better...but I was bummed, because I was a big fan.

I have a soft spot for Air Supply: either All Out of Love or Lost in Love was the first song that I got utterly sick of hearing on the radio. Or maybe it was both: it was years before I figured out that they weren't the same song.

At any rate, thanks for reminding me of a simpler time, when Middle School was still called Jr. High, and the first time I got pissed that the less-qualified candidate had become president.

Their pipes seemed to be giving out on their infamous Time-Life Classic Soft Rock Collection infomercial, but Jason Hare swears they still had it as of 2007, and so do you. That's good enough for me.

Oh! I was soooo happy to go see Air Supply in 1982. I was ten.
And, nostalgic fool that I am, I went to see them do a casino show just last year, and the words 'icky' and 'creepy' were redefined. They still got pipes, though.
