why Why WHy WHY do musicians think they can act???

I worked on a movie written and directed by the guy who invented the keytar. Guy made millions off those things.

Didn't Clapton play on this album?

I hereby assign you to track that man down and interview him. Next, you will talk with the person who designed Casio's line of digital guitars from the '80s.

And don't forget the Electronic Valve Instruments (EVI) - Tom Scott, Bob Mintzer and Dave Sanborn were sucking on these things for years.

This could be a new show, no? "MIDI Carnage"? "Gizmos of MIDI and the Casio Worm"?

An old friend of mine recently called me after going through some substance abuse issues. "Dancing on the Ceiling" somehow came up in our conversation, don't ask me how. I kid you not, this was my friend's profound revelation about this song: "Now I know what that song is about: it's about being high on crack!"

In 1986, I was dating a girl who loved Lionel Richie. We were on the phone one day, and she told me she had heard his new single. "It's GOOD," she assured me, knowing that I was not a fan. Then I finally heard it, and couldn't believe me ears. "Oh, what a feeling"? Are you kidding me? Wasn't that the Toyota tag line at the time?

Can't even bring myself to watch the above video with the sound off. Awful, just awful.

Captain Video, it's great to have you back. The next time I feel like dancing, I'm going to fuse the "Big belly dance," with "Where did my dignity go" dance. That'll clear the room.

As the ever-hip former-Commodore would say at the American Music Awards . . . "OUTRAGEOUS !"

    Hello . . . is it me you're looking for ?
