ChetBkr247 · 1 month agoyep, i'm pissed. i hate record companies doing this shit. i got so burned by columbia/bruce springsteen that i didn't buy his new album because i feel like i bought the Seeger session thing 3 f*cking times (and it wasn't that good the first time). if they are gonna do two versions - they know it up front AND should offer consumers a CHOICE. instead in this case - they are making me feel like a VICTIM and now less inclined to make this a holiday gift selection (as I would have easily before) this season. These jerks loss is Seven Worlds Collide's gain as that's the other cool record like this that I wanna hip others too. Now it'll probably come out with a "special edition". This is the kinda greedy bullshit that encourages file sharing and dancing on the graves of greedy label mother f*ckers. You think because a record is for a good cause and "touchy feely" that the label involved won't rape you and then...they do.
