Jeff featuring "Closer to Mercury" on a random mix at Jefitoblog is how I discovered them. If you liked "Per Second," you'll probably like the new album, and they recently rereleased the first two, "Medeiros" and "Hope and Adams," as a two-CD set with an extra CD of bonus material. "Everyday I Said a Prayer for Kathy ..." is worth hearing, too; it's a "grower," but there are some great songs on it that immediately stand out.

Re: CD Review: Wheat, “White Ink, Black Ink”

I love this band. I first discovered them when I saw them open for the Blake Babies back in 2001. I made a point of buying the records that were out at the time and saw them live a few more times over the next couple of years. I didn't get to see them when "Per Second..." came out, but I loved that album. So glad to see they have a new album.
