For further evidence that Bryan Adams wasn't always a total douchewank, check out the liner notes to Kiss's awesome Creatures of the Night album (1982). Yep, that's two co-writer credits for Mr. Adams on there ("Rock and Roll Hell" and "War Machine").

He also co-wrote "Down on your Knees" On the KISS "Killers" album

I've got to second Jon's nod to "You Want It You Got It" by Bryan Adams. I listened to that whole CD the other day, and that's not something I've done recently with any of his other albums. It holds up as an album, meaning a collection of songs that you can listen to all the way through without skipping through the filler.

We should also give a shout to the man behind the curtain on many hits for Adams, Loverboy, Prism and numerous other acts Canadian and otherwise - Jim Vallance. I know I've plugged this before, but if you want to really be impressed, go to the discography section of jimvallance.com: http://www.jimvallance.com/01-music-folder/pg-d...

I'll still take Bryan Adams over Ryan Adams!

The David Cassidy comments were great, but got me thinking, has someone done a piece on all the Actors turned singers or vice versa? And in light of Kevin Costner's new CD, it got me thinking and there are so many, some actually charted. For starters, Don Johnson (he did a duet with Streisand!), Bruce Willis, David Soul, Jack Wagner, Kevin Bacon, Keanu Reeves...etc. Or perhaps I'm the only one in the world who finds that remotely interesting. Which could be.
