    I firmly believe that self-confidence is a.) the single most important factor in attracting a woman and b.) the one thing that truly cannot be faked. And it's very odd how it ebbs and flows, at least for yours truly. It's like being a batter who's on a hot streak, or has fallen into a slump. When it's working, you're belting out doubles and triples without giving it half a thought. And then, sometimes for no reason whatsoever, it completely deserts you and you couldn't score to save your life.
