Got around that firewall problem, I see?
  • drxl · 1 month ago
No, the firewall prevents me from listening to MP3s and videos, so Cover Me is In, Name that Tune is Out.

#14 is Jen Trynin, Gun Shy Trigger Happy
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
All guesses so far are correct, except for Blues Traveler. And Alison Krauss is the right artist, but not the right title.

Also, for the sake of the acrostic, #16 is credited to Frank Zappa.
  • SansDirection · 1 month ago
    15. Elvis Presley, "Elvis Presley", or whatever the album that inspired the London Calling cover was named....
    24. Alison Krauss, "New Favorite"

    9. Samantha Fox – Touch Me
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
Samantha Fox is correct. Any guesses on the acrostic?
  • arensb · 1 month ago
The best I can come up with is something along the lines of "Jeff Giles! Yell `Jeff Giles', y'all!"
  • Francis · 1 month ago
I had assumed a sort of repeating chant: "Jeff Giles, y'all! Jeff Giles, y'all!"
  • TuffGong · 1 month ago
    11. Andrew Gold - All This & Heaven Too

I'd have the acrostic if I knew what the bloody hell #23 is! But then I imagine a lot of people would.
  • JerryM · 1 month ago
Is 22 Simply Red - A New Flame?
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
Not Simply Red. Good guess, though. The artist has long curly hair like Mick, I'll give you that.
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
"Jeff Giles y'all Jeff Giles y'all" is the acrostic. For those who missed this when it first ran...

Andrew Gold is correct as well.
  • jefito · 1 month ago
After all these years, I'm finally an acrostic! Now I can die.
  • Francis · 1 month ago
It doesn't fit the acrostic (I've been assuming the puzzle cover supplies the missing L in the second "y'all"), but I still want to give The Replacements, "Don't Tell a Soul" a shot for the puzzle cover.
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
Not the Mats. The puzzle cover is very recent.
  • breadalbane · 1 month ago
19 is The Icicle Works "The Small Price Of A Bicycle". I'm not sure this record was actually released in the US....
  • DavidMedsker · 1 month ago
I'm not sure either, to be honest. I'm running low on I covers...
  • eddie_w · 1 month ago
Argh, I love Cover Me, but I never can seem to remember to get over here on time on Mondays before the few ones I know have long since been ID'd (which this time, embarrassingly enough included Samantha Fox). Need to set that Outlook reminder...
