Here's an even downer note: Dan wrote the cover story of a Canadian newsweekly a couple weeks ago.

Arrrrgggh, sorry for mentioning what you mentioned, Jeff ... comprehension skills limited at 7:47am

Oh, don't worry. I understand, believe me...

That Macleans article about Hill's background is kind of a hoot. I snorted at the bit about his father telling him, "Look, kid, you're no Bruce Cockburn."

Canada is just another country, but sometimes it seems like a whole other world.

Holy crap! Dan Hill actually has an up-tempo song. I was ready for another sobby ballad with "Can't Break the Same Heart Twice" and then...I heard drums banging out a beat that was faster than the average resting pulse.

Dan Hill, racial conscience of Canada? What's next? Paul Davis, champion of Nashville gun control?

You know, it took a week and a half to get Even The Nights Are Better out of my head after recording the podcast, and now I've got Sometimes When We Touch stuck in there thanks to you.

You go to hell, Jeff Giles. You go to hell and you die.

Am I the only one who constantly gets Dan Hill, Dan Seals, and Dan Hartman mixed up?
  • Tripodd · 1 year ago
And did you know that Dan Hill was the first husband of Faith Hill, hence her last name...

Different Dan Hill. He goes by Daniel Hill, actually, and he's a real nice guy to have dinner with.

Thanks. I was sure confused on that one!
