    On a somewhat related note ...

    Can anyone confirm that Mojo Nixon turned "Don Henley Must Die" into "Rick Astley Must Die" after Henley got up on stage with him one night and sang backing vocals on the song? I've also heard that ol' Mojo has made it into "Phil Collins Must Die."     To download 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg' by Rick Astley would be to put it immediately after a nice live version of Richard Thompson 'Vincent Black Lightning' on my itunes list. Oh, the humanity. I must respectfully decline.

    I must have fallen into some sort of alternate dimension. Someone is bashing the fabulous, baby-faced Rick Astley ? This simply isn't possible. He did some of the most delightful, cheese-tastic songs of the '80's. All hail Rick Astley ! He is Annie Lennox with shoulder pads.

    Not to spread rumors but I have heard that he is white. I can't confirm this so keep it under your jockstrap.

    And WHY OH WHY is this column ending ? Has delicious sarcasm been outlawed ? Because if it has then I'm in major trouble. Long live Cutouts Gone Wild ! Show us your tits !

    We're running out of cutouts worth covering! And Will is doing much the same thing with Hooks 'N' You -- only with better music AND interviews!

    Aw come on, that's all a bit harsh. I really liked this album at the time (I was young though), Take Me To Your Heart being a particular favourite. Not surprised it's back in (digital) print though, what with Rickrolling and all, although it would be a strange person who thinks "dammit I've just been Rickrolled! I wonder what his second album sounded like..."

    And as for 'the man responsible for one of the most simpering ballads of the late ’80s', are we talking Richard Marx???

    We are not. Sadly, I don't think any of Marx's albums are out of print...and if they were, you can bet Jason would be leading a petition drive to change that.
