The assistant director, the actors, the music - the asst. director served as a huge liason between the director and cast. While we knew going into the film that Harvey Milk was going to die, the shadow of death didn't hang over the film like I thought it would.  Van Sant brought a playfulness in Penn that we haven't seen from him in a long time (maybe the last time was SWEET AND LOWDOWN).&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Malchus</dc:creator><pubDate>Sun, 15 Mar 2009 15:32:05 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
