I once saw the P Funk All Stars at UNH in Durham. They have yet to figure out what hit 'em. The Samples opened up for them, and after this jammy-go-lucky band left the stage and Dr. Funkenstein came out...the kids were quite confused.

That, I imagine, was only a shell of the band on this disc. I should partake, fron the sounds of it...

just watched the performance for the first time, such a wealth of musical collaboration! ...is eddie Hazel the guitarist in the hug mexican hat? and who is the guitarist who sings on "swing down sweet chariot"?
