...but where are the Robert Trujillo bass solos?? Oh wait, that was Suicidal Tendencies, never mind...

I can't wait till November to see Metallica in concert again! The Death Magnetic CD is sickly AWESOME! I have seen them 3 times previous (they don't always make it up here to Portland)...It sucked cause tickets sold out in minutes and when I got to the checkout to buy them I hit refresh cause it started at like 2 mins then went to 11 mins in wait time, etc...Anyways I missed out on them but got them from that tickets for face value site eSellOut anyways: http://www.esellout.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?kwd... ~ if anyone else needs tickets for the Rose Garden here in Portland (or I guess anywhere else for that matter) the site ROCKS!

I heard three tracks off this CD at my local record store yesterday and thought it was blistering good! I'm not a big fan of "Metllica" (If you saw the movie, you'll get it), but I rather liked what I heard. By the way, the You Tube vid has been "removed." Boo.

I like to quote the band Sunn O)) who subtitled their cover of 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' - "I Dream of Lars Ulrich Being Thrown Through the Bus Window instead of My Master Mystikall Kliff Burton"

Actually I haven't heard it yet and I gotta give mad props to Rob Trujilo for his work in Suicidal. Just for me, Metallica will always be that guitar solo that kicks in after Cliff's bass solo during 'Orion'.

Metallica should totally cover "Send Me Your Money."

If there was ever a contest for Most Humorless Rock Band, Metallica would win by a landslide. There's a reason why the only listenable record they have is the covers record.

Oh come on, over the Mars Volta? I had the misfortune of enduring one of their shows once and it was so masturbatory that I was surprised that they were still wearing pants by the end.
