I have never heard or seen this film, but after reading your review (with the political analogies) I now want to check it out. Guess I'll have start my Netflix account up again -- or maybe iTunes has it in their rentals section.

I adored it the first time I saw it ages ago. And I was worried that a second viewing would disappoint me. But it didn't.

I enjoyed this movie a lot when I saw it. It was like John Hughes in the Twilight Zone.
