"I can't stand country", and pretentiously screw up my face along with my friends whenever it comes up. For some reason, however, I absolutely adore Dolly Parton and am glad that she is still around.

Hmmm . . . I'm so glad that everyone grasped the concept of this article. How foolish I feel bothering to write passionately about her singing and songwriting talents.

Personally, I can never move beyond her cover of "Silver Dagger." First time I heard it was on a compilation and didn't realize that it was her. When I did I just about fell out of my chair. Blows Joan Baez off her hippie a$$.

Hands down my favorite Dolly Parton bluegrass song.
