Yup, I'm the one to blame and damn proud of it. Welcome back, Will!

I LOVE Still Crazy! Great movie. I think the reason americans don't want to see it is they think it's going to be topo much like Spinal Tap. It's not though. Other than the obvious similarities of a rock biopic of a fictional band, they have a completely different sentiment. Everyone who likes music movies should see this for sure.

My favorite line (being a drummer myself).... "If men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus...then Drummers are definitely from Pluto"

I actually thought it was a Popdose column that originally turned me onto "Still Crazy". I guess that's not the case, but I do owe someone a huge debt of gratitude. I thought the movie was great, and I did immediately order the soundtrack. Obviously, the movie didn't get marketed properly over here since it should have been as big as "Spinal Tap", "Rock Star" or "Almost Famous". "All Over The World" is one of those earworm songs that randomly pops into my head for no other reason than it is so damn catchy.

This is one of those movies that only seems to be mentioned by people "in the know." I loved it, much more than Almost Famous, which is perhaps better known because of the more recognizable people in the U.S. like Kate Hudson. Still Crazy was a fun movie that made you feel for the characters, not because the movie is telling you you should, but because you want to. I think I'll go see it again, it's been too long.

I just came across this when I was looking Guy up online - apparently he's been touring as a stand-up, talking about his time on the road - random, lol!
I found a video of him about it, which I thought I'd share:

I am still amazed on the mass of talent. The participants had to be
    1. good actors to play the emotional conflicts
    2. good musicians to perform the songs like they were real rock hymns
    3. good comedians to make all that go over the top and still be plausible

In that sense Stilly Crazy is much more than just a movie.
