    Love the collabs with Scritti Politti's Green on Body Language, too.

    True, that. Also fun is the live version of "Kids" where Bono subs for Robbie.

    Y'know, I'm sure I'll make it past that first picture of Ms. Minogue to read the rest of your post eventually, but I did make it far enough to proffer this:

    I streamed the "I Should Be So Lucky" track, and now I cannot get Brian Griffin's version of "Never Gonna Give You Up" out of my head.

    Stock-Aiken-Waterman might've only had fifty different permutations of the same basic song, but, damn, that one song sure was catchy...

    Oh, I love Kylie's early pop stuff. Especially that song . . .

    "I should be so ducky . . . ducky, ducky, ducky . . . I should be so ducky with love . . . "

    Michel Gondry's video for "Come Into My World" is great.

    Two more critical Kylie facts:
    - Name-checked by The KLF in the same track that contemplated dreams about nailing Felicity Kendal;
    - Stake in the ground for Paul Morley's definitive analysis "Words and Music: The History of Pop in the Shape of a City"

    Speaking of songs that name-check Ms. Minogue, I can't believe that I neither tied in last week's column with Midget's song, "Kylie and Jason," nor mentioned the BMX Bandits' great song, "Kylie's Got A Crush On Us."

    And don't forget that she's the subject of INXS's "Suicide Blonde."

    I like Kylie's early stuff as well.

    "Light Years" was where I hopped on the Kylie bandwagon and have been a fan since. The live video put out from that tour is also a lot of fun, with the show opening with Kylie coming down from the rafters on a giant discoball-esque anchor (on to a "Loveboat" type set).

    Now that you have all finally accepted the pop genius that is Kylie Minogue, I dare one of you in Popdose to tackle the truly truly dance-a-licious phenom known as Dannii Minogue (younger sis). She's even more of a guilty pleasure.
