    Awesome! Many thanks for sharing.

And now, to bite the hand that feeds ... as much as Jellyfish ought to share royalties with Queen, the Beach Boys, Jeff Lynne and Macca, Drake Bell (there, I typed it) should be sending checks to Jellyfish.

Yeah, that Drake Bell. Not a great album (hey, I bought it for my daughter), but I defy you not to hear Andy & Roger in every other chorus or knob twiddle).

    Just puttin' it out there.

Don't look for me to argue. I bought it from iTunes and quite enjoy it!

The up side is that I have a few of this band's songs to enjoy. The down side is that you've essentially teased us with something we can't get ourselves!

Still, it was great to hear 'em.

I've missed Jellyfish since their contribution to Ringo Starr's "Time Takes Time" album.

Not true: there's a used copy on Amazon right now - that's 11:18 AM EST - for a paltry $17.99. (You can also pick up that 2-disc version of "Bubblegun" for far less.)

    I looooove "Bubble Gun."

These songs certainly do get their hooks in me...and even though this is the first time I've heard this group, they kind of remind me of They Might Be Giants.

Great write up. Perhaps you'll be happy to hear that Anders and David have started writing and performing together again...albeit slowly. I have 4 or 5 tracks that they have recorded over the past serveral years that are just itching to be part of a new album. They are what you'd expect - catchy, hooky, incredible power pop. So, there's hope yet. In fact, David just sent me a note about 3 weeks ago along with a video of him teaching me the chords to some of the newer material.

Also...they did do one last thing after Bubblegun...my McCartney trib (Listen To What the Man Said), covering "No More Lonely Nights." Fantastic version, if you haven't heard it.
