Excellent! Can't wait for part two. I'm going to try to catch them next month on their tour. Loved these guys since their first, and Eddi since "Perfect." Nice to see them back, and wish them much success!

    Thanks for this interview.

I have a "theory" that part of the difficulty experienced by bands like Trash Can Sinatras is the name doesn't seem to match the style of music. Every time I see the name I think of some punk band, maybe rockabilly, but, never melodic pop.

    :)

I haven't even done my interview with Paul yet, but after reading this, it already sucks.

Blah blah blah. Your concerns, as ever, are unfounded.

Wait, so we can blame The Trash Can Sinatras for the current overexposure of Jeff Giles, Will Harris, and other names that need not be mentioned?

Oh hell, I'm kinda glad about that.

Good interview - I've been listening in the past day to a promo "best of" that was sent to radio to help promo the new tour - I'm not sure how I missed being a fan of these guys back in the day, but I am on board now, and will be heading out to check out their show here in Cleveland, without a doubt!

    Hey Will,

Great interview so far! I remember you from the listserv days in '94. It started earlier than even Frank remembers! I can't wait to hear the new songs from In the Music played live. Everyone in a city/town near a show should definitely come out! TCS are one of the best live bands!

Thanks for posting this wonderful interview. I got to interview Frank about four and a half years ago for The Big Takeover and he was one of the nicest musicians I've ever had the privilege of meeting. He has a way of making you instantly comfortable with him even if you don't know him. We walked around Hoboken for an hour and conversing (it was a very free-form sort of interview) before their show at Maxwell's later that night.

Also, the new record is great and I'm really looking forward to seeing them play next month.
