  • Hey John, nice blog, but the Jigsaw track is incomplete.
  • nevermind. it's all good. got it today. the problem was on my end.
  • Ah, but have you heard Newton's version of Sky High? Now that's a proper classic.
  • The Newton version used the original Jigsaw vocals...so it was technically a remix, even though it was never credited as such.
  • Who could forget the summer of '74 (otherwise known as the "Summer of Bo"???). "Who Do You Think You Are" has long been a favorite guilty pleasure of mine and it got quite a bit of airplay in Chicago on both WLS and Super 'CFL (making the Top 10 on both weekly charts; it also did good enough to be song #61 in WLS' Big 89 of 1974!). I also remember a girl who lived around the corner from me and was in my 5th grade class had a copy of that LP (who could forget that all-white cover?).

    I'll also give a shout-out to Larry Flick... enjoyed his musical writings for quite a while now and actually met him some years back at IBR in San Francisco.
