Or, 'Sweet Caroline' or "Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon" which makes Neil Dimond a two-hit pervert? Or Sexy and Seventeen' by the Stray Cats? 'Hey Little Girl' by - oh, a lot of different people. Donnie Osmond sang it which made it double child molestation as some adult really wanted to hear about him and that other little person. 'Young Girl' by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap? 'Go Away Little Girl', also sung by Donnie Osmond, who was from the same family that sang the song 'Baby, You've Been Flirting' which may or may not have been about a girl too young but it was definitely about a young female being stalked and threatened with assault and implied rape.

'Blame it on the Boogie' is a song about sex, sung by a tiny young man who grew up to be an accused child molester. Well it's about him wanting sex and not getting it because she would rather dance. And 'You're Sixteen" and "My Little Runaway" have been sung by many. But, Bon Jovi also has a song about a runaway, that says something like "Daddy's girl learns fast ..."

Probably the best one is by Aerosmith, who were at least writing about the aftermath of child molestation and making people feel bad about it. Observant people anyway. https://youtu.be/RqQn2ADZE1A

Re: Lists You Didn’t Ask For: Statutory Rock Edition

16 is legal in the UK (where Ringo Starr is from). I remember this getting some airplay in Chicago on Q101 for about two weeks before they scrapped it, then hearing it a few weeks later in Albuquerque in heavy rotation. Definitely a creepy tune, still have their VULTURE cd somewhere in my collection.

Re: Lists You Didn’t Ask For: Statutory Rock Edition

God. I thought it was for years until I heard an interview with Benny Mardones. It's about a girl whose parents are divorcing and she's caught in the middle and he wants to take her away from it.

It still sounds creepy as hell though.
