Back then he was known as Chris Brown. We were acquainted through a mutual friend who is a great guitarist. The funny thing was Chris played in the High School talent show. He and Chris Robbins played "Sunshine of Your Love." The funny thing is nobody sang. I wish I could get back in touch with both Chris'

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Thanks ; )

C. The opener "fall for you" is sappy and simplistic, but very well done. All in all, it's not a bad CD especially since I came across it in the $1 bin about a year or two after it came out. I've been listening to it off and on ever since.

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

BURN THIS PAGE!!!!

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Are you tellin' me?!?

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Actually, Glamour Camp is a great "around the house" cd. It's just techno enough not to be upbeat and mello enough to make great background music. Yeah...it's late 80's...but what's wrong with that? Have you listened to the radio lately? Maybe the 80's were the last decent era for music.

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Ugh...I knew that. I meant to write "Iggy covered", not co-wrote. Thanks for the catch!

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

I, too, had this cassette single...and, God help me, I bought the entire CD as well.

And promptly sold it.

But, still, I loved this song...and I remember the video, too, which aired after an episode of "120 Minutes." (I used to tape the show every week, and the tape would invariably roll over by a few minutes.)

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Hate to nitpick--Iggy covered "Real Wild Child", but he didn''t write it...

Glamour Camp sounds so 1989...not bad, very familiar...nice choice for the revamp!

Re: Lost in the ’80s: Glamour Camp, “She Did It”

Oh, man, not at all what I expected.

This would have fit perfectly in my cassette rack between Diving For Pearls and Company Of Wolves.

You know as well as I do that isn't quite a compliment.
