Okay, so it's not a song about vogueing, and the style of vogueing seen in the video isn't typical ballroom, but that legendary children vibe is still turning. Jody totally broke vogueing out to the masses, as far as I'm concerned.
BTW John, I finally got to see a real NYC ball in 98, at the Warehouse. It was fierce, for about a half an hour, and then it just became a parade of queens falling backwards into splits. Most of the children looked bored. Maybe "Paris is Burning" just raised my expectations too high, or maybe the scene was just played out by then.
