I was amazed to find they have no listing at AMG at all. Found this 3-year old Blog post in a subsequent search. I would really have thought they were more widely known then that; I guess they were just a thing here in New England.

Re: Lost in the ’90s: The Dambuilders

Haven't heard a ton of the Dambuilder's stuff but I own Against the Stars and I have to say that album is great. Seriously kicks. And the song "Wished on the Wrong Star"...its up there in my top 25 songs ever. If you see this CD used, don't hesitate to pick it up.

Re: Lost in the ’90s: The Dambuilders

Hell yes! Thank you for sharing. I've only had Against the Stars and had never heard anything before it.

Re: Lost in the ’90s: The Dambuilders

The Dambuilders are the fukka shit! Dave Derby's solo record Even Futher Behind gets heavy rotation at the Le Mieux household. As do his first two solo albums under the band name Brilliantine. I think Eric Masunaga the guitarist runs a DVD creation company in Boston after producing albums for the Atomic Fireballs and most notably Harmacy by Sebadoh. And cutiepie drummer Kevin March was drumming for GBV until Bob switched bands again. I forget who's he's playing with now, but he's always in demand. Maybe I can get him to play with me! Titsley!!!
