Hope you've worked your way back and discovered their true masterpiece, Imperial ffrr which preceded Perfect Teeth.

I did...I figured Imperial was much more well known, deservedly so. Did you see it's been remastered and is on iTunes now?

That's twice as many record stores as there are in Elyria now! And, uh, infinity times as many as there in, say, Lorain!

Did my favorite Unrest tune "Isabel" appear on an album, or just as a single?
  • JohnHughes · 1 year ago
"Isabel" was actually on the Isabel EP, but you can currently buy the MP3 on Amazon!

I still have my "Perfect Teeth" comb somewhere that I bought from Teen Beat mail order back in 1993 (alongside the bonus tracked version of Imperial ffrr). Because the Teen Beat label was a small operation you actually made checks directly payable to Mark Robinson-so when you got your returned check back from the bank it was like getting a bonus autograph on the back.

Nice choice! I love Unrest/Air Miami/all things Teenbeat. It was a surreal moment indeed when I discovered that one of my cousins is now married to Mark Robinson they're just a couple hours away in Boston. Went to a family gathering at my grandparents' house and there he was, one of my musical heroes, munching on potato salad. Life is funny.
