I got a late addendum to Ben's song after the post went live, but I thought I would share it with you:

"Ben Wiser aka Voidcrawler - "The Dreaming Sea" from 'Journey of the Voidcrawler' 2006

"The Dreaming Sea" was the first part of a much larger composition I made from tape loops and drones in 2006. It's a big departure from my previous musical projects. No cryptic lyrics, no choruses, no hooks. Just a big ball of sonic string for the listener to unravel and draw their own conclusions as to what lay at the center.
I think that it's the best example of what I was trying to do at the time. A droning, churning soundscape for shamanic trance or just drifting off to sleep."
