I believe hands down that So Jealous is their best album, though. It's much stronger lyrically than If It Was You and their sound is more developed. But Living Room is still one of my favorites. :)

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

But if you REALLY need to see/hear "Obsession" by Animotion...here 'tis!

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

I'm also allergic to that song. ;-)

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

Where's Animotion?

Re: Sarah McLachlan -- so, so many women in public life get creepy fan mail. I'm not the least bit surprised McLachlan -- beautiful voice, inclined to write sensual songs, not exactly unattractive -- gets more than most.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

I'm allergic to that song, Dw.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

As awful as it is, Dido's "White Flag" belongs here somewhere.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

Yeah, the songs sans creepy theme are great. But when you mix them together ... well, I start looking over my shoulder to see if anyone is stalking me.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

C'mon! The bass line alone is so great! I agree his voice is timid, but I still like the song -- which is not at all Postal Service sounding. Have a listen...I think you'll be surprised.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

Scrolling down this one, I was with you enough until Death Cab For Cutie. I can't stand that guy's timid, whiney emo voice, and especially Postal Service's Nintendo gamey sounding electronica. Blech!

If it had been 'Landlord' from that Police album I would grit my teeth and bear it, but that's not the theme.

Re: Mix Six: “Obsession”

It may be a creepy subject, but you can't go wrong with Only You followed immediately by Every Breath You Take.
