Foreshadowing, kids!

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

I remember his single "Weatherman Says" got a bit of airplay and actually charted on Z-95 in Chicago. I'm thinking it barely scraped into the Hot 100... guess we'll have to wait a while to see it in "The Ass End of the 80s". I still remember the "catchy" chorus:

"Weatherman says it's gonna get hot tonight..."

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

With the exception of Ms. Lohan's tune, I feel I have been swept back to my early teenage years. I had completely forgotten about Don Johnson's "hit." :)

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

Jack Wager and AOR? That really does sound like a joke. Are you sure you don't mean AC?

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

It figures Giles would like "All I Need." He's such a softie. ;-)

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

I do like "All I Need," although it took until last year -- and possibly the e-mail friendship of Jeff Giles -- for me to appreciate it. I still like "Respect Yourself," and I think Ruth is the only Pointer Sister who sings on it. I need to find the video on YouTube.

Re: Mix Six: “Stars Who Sing!”

Jack Wagner's 3 albums in the 80's were pure AOR gold.

All I Need / Lighting Up The Night / Don't Give Up Your Day Job

Seek them out - no joke.
