Sorry mate, but it is you who as considerable faults as a person and human being if you don't respect Phil Collins as a songwriter and person. Phil Collins is an awesome songwriter, someone of great honesty, kindness, humility, integrity, fairness and talent and not everybody hates Phil Collins: Only sad miserable and jalous people do. You are right about his drumming though. Phil Collins does not play drums, He gives them life and makes them sing!

I'd nominate "Take It Off The Top" by Dixie Dregs and "Grey Seal" by Elton John (the 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' version).

I would also like to go on record saying that I do not hate Phil Collins.

I always liked the intro to "Hot For Teacher." Alex doesn't quite do the "singing drums" thing, but it sure rocks!

God, that Golden Palominos cover is hideous. The original cover, as with most of their artwork, was understated in a kind of gorgeous way. They've been cursed with some truly terrible repackagings.

Still, I do like the way that it creates a column of faces staring directly at the camera. If we could just get Peter Gabriel to turn a little to his right...
