Give me a break. Give any music lover the budget, a six-pack, and a couple of afternoons, and they could "do" a soundtrack too. You make it sound like Tarantino was the one who wrote the songs.

Re: Motion Picture Soundtrack: “Battle Without Honor or Humanity”

Hey Ted,

You make a movie. You painstakingly do the soundtrack. Then wait sixteen years for some anonymous jackass to comment on how it was derivative.

Get a freakin' life, man.

Love,
Anita

Re: Motion Picture Soundtrack: “Battle Without Honor or Humanity”

I think Tarentino is a wannabe DJ with the way he uses music in his films. Nothing wrong with that, but even though the scene in Reservoir Dogs featuring "Stuck in the Middle With You" was memorable and a sly move on his part, I kept thinking how derivative it was of Malcolm McDowell performing "Singing in the Rain" in A Clockwork Orange .
