hints:

#5 is a very famous 1960s song by a successful duo. It's hard to think of a more substantial hint that doesn't give it away, so I'll leave it at that. The clip doesn't sound like the rest of the song, but I'm still surprised someone hasn't got it.

#10 is a big 1960s hit cover of a song from an influential musical.

#11 is a 1990s hit, the title track of an album, but not the biggest hit from the album.

Ding ding ding! MathewBolin nails the puzzle song: "This Song" by George Harrison, written in the aftermath of losing the "My Sweet Lord"/"He's So Fine" plagiarism case (an asinine decision, IMGDO).
