Popdose: Political Culture: The Palin-Prejean Connection

I think it's just another way of setting women back. The whole "conservative women are hott!" meme is a strange one, but it fits the fear that too many people seem to have about the wrong types getting uppity. No wonder Michelle Obama gives so many righties conniptions.

They are a couple of attention wanting, flaky, exhibitionists bible thumping hypocrites who do not want to work for their money. Deadbeats wanting a handout or threatening a lawsuit. Pathetic creatures.

How funny (and scary) that SarahPac has a "Donate" ad to the immediate left of this article?

Whatever the hell she has planned, she's still having her people actively raise money for it.

She's the most entertaining political figure since Randee of the Redwoods. I may donate to her PAC just to thank her for all the laughs.

I just clicked onto the page and, instead of Sarah, there's an Ann Coulter ad. Even more delightful!

You just made a Randee of the Redwoods reference.

Popdose in a nutshell, my friend!

The moment Palin announced she was quitting her job as governor, my first thought was: "Fox News offered her a ton of money to host her own show."

I just clicked over to the FAQ on SarahPac and found this wonderfully vague:

    Who is behind SarahPac?

Gov. Sarah Palin believes all Americans must work together for the future, regardless of their party affiliation. Gov. Palin is the honorary chair of SarahPac, and its supporters are Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and those unaffiliated with any political party.

    Republicans? Well, duh.
    Democrats? No names yet!
    Independents? Jeff Giles.

"Independents, and those unaffiliated with any political party." Umm...

If the dim bulb who wrote that redundancy had just ended the sentence with the word "also," at least it would have sounded exactly like Sarah speaking.
  • Ted · 4 months ago
I wonder if the retort would be: "Well, we were talking about the American Independent Party."
  • JonCummings · 4 months ago
More likely the Alaska Independence Party, if you know what I'm sayin'...

    Oh yeah, I feel you...

I'd pay $4.99 for a DVD of their first lesbian scene together.
