Hmmm...

Or would that work better as a punchline? "_________ would be like bringing a switchblade to a concert at UNH!!!"

(and I couldn't agree more w/ you about the Samples. Ugh. Never "got" that band...also never figured out how they fit in w/ the jamband thing, either.)

What I remember about that show was the way you could tell which band people were going to see from 200 feet away...

Samples fans were wearing tie-dye and sandals, while P-Funk attendees tended toward combat boots, because they were pretty sure their toes were going to get stepped on before the evening was over.
