Three cheers for Will Harris, who brought us a fantastic interview with the right questions to one of the four artists who will get my money as soon as I hear they have an album coming out, no questions asked and no preview necessary. Jonatha Brooke is not only extraordinarily gifted, heavenly voiced, and lyrically perfect, she's also hotter than a couple dozen pop stars half her age. Damn. How could she get married again? Doesn't she know I was waiting for her call? Great work, Will. Could you pass me her number? I have, uh, some not-stalking to do.

Excellent interview, Will. I'm listening to 10-Cent Wings right now (though, if I'd clean up this shithole of an office, I'd be able to find the second Story record, which is what I REALLY want to hear right now). I kinda lost track of Jonatha after Steady Pull, but got ... um ... pulled right back to her with this new record. So good to have that voice back in my regular rotation again.

Was definitely NOT aware of Nick Lachey covering "Because I Told You So," one of her most sublime songs. I can't imagine anyone but her singing that "You take the wheel for now ..." line. Is it worth seeking out?
