Popdose: Revival House: “Shall We Play a Game?”

So that was the two of you in the front row at Jedi in '83! Mystery solved. Almost every other geek at AHS was in the balcony (or loge as they were calling it back then).

WarGames was quite good! Even today, it still holds up as an entertaining thriller -- mostly because Broderick is just so damn likable in the role. And the pacing of the story has many nice layers that are revealed in effective ways.

I love your story about Zant. It reminds me of when I saw "Independence Day" on opening weekend in '96 with a packed audience and someone behind me, about an hour into the film, said, "This is the best movie ever!"

It's interesting to see that Badham has been working in TV since 2003. His film career didn't flame out in some spectacular fashion, so I wonder why he hasn't made a feature fim since "Incognito," which barely got released in '98 and was apparently a movie he inherited after Peter Weller was fired as director.
