"Rock and Roll Animal" (which is re-worked Velvets). I suppose "Berlin". "Street Hassle" has its moments. "Transformer".

Of course, the same could be said of Clapton's output. "Layla" stands up. "461 Ocean Boulevard" is unfortunate because it set God down the path of the Tulsa shuffle, but considered on its merits is still solid. Then he released a series of sides that went straight to the cut-out bin. (I wonder if anyone payed full price for "There's One In Every Crowd" or "EC Was Here".) Then he sobered up, and has been making dull AOR bullshit ever since.

That said, I think I'll take Clapton's "I Can't Stand It" which at least sounds like it is trying to ignite.

Re: Song-Off: Having a Rock and Roll Heart

Dave's just mad because Eric Clapton gave his mom the clap.

Re: Song-Off: Having a Rock and Roll Heart

You guys sound like Dennis Miller arguing with Dennis Miller.
