The results aren't even in yet and i'm already crying voter fraud, i agree i've heard Black Magic Woman waaaay too many times but, it still kicks Donovan's ass! This is akin to Happy Birthday beating Beethovan's fifth symphony in a song writing contest, well maybe not that extreme, but still pretty freakin out of whack.

Oh, I'm with you -- I can't hear "Black Magic Woman" without wanting to hit someone. But at least Carlos gave us the masterpiece of unintentional comedy that is Metatron. Donovan, on the other hand, simply sucks big-time.

In my case, it's not that I particularly like Donovan's song, but that Santana's is even worse. Perhaps because I heard it way way WAAAY too often on the radio back in the day.
