I agree both Caruso and Berkley are not only cartoon characters they have next to no chemistry as far as I can see.
Like somebody mentioned somewhere else - I'm not too sur if Caruso is on the joke. Maybe he was in earlier yeras. But now looks like he takes himself all too seriosly.

Let me see. How can I say this with some class? His "superhero costume" sucks. I can buy the suits, but those striped shirts are wearing very thin. May as well just print the big red "S" on the front.

Elizabeth Berkley's "audience" that you mention is all male. I'm not aware of the demographics of the show, but I'm guessing half the audience would prefer she wear turtleneck tops.

The writers know what the audience wants from Elizabeth Berkley. And Elizabeth Berkley knows what the audience wants from Elizabeth Berkley. (But I did hear that she was good in 2002's "Roger Dodger," with Campbell Scott.)

Agree with Josie about Berkley's dress. But then take a look at Caruso's wardrobe--it's been the same for 3 years. Suit and dark shirt. Must be some tight budgeting going on in the CBS wardrobe department. Odd for a hit show too.

Can't argue that Caruso is over-the-top, even more so than most of the cast, if that's possible. Don't agree that Berkley compliments him at all. She doesn't fit in that genre. Maybe that dance-pole image is seared into my brain. Judging from last night, with all her widow's wad, she can't afford more than one half dress? Caruso plays his joke to the hilt; is anyone going to clue Berkley in?

Like I said last week, Horatio's so different from every other character on the show that it's like Caruso is starring in another show altogether in his mind. Horatio really is a cartoon character at this point, and Elizabeth Berkley's Jessica Rabbit-like performance on last night's episode complemented him well.

Nice song tie-in. Really though, Horatio Caine is a cartoon. CSI is pretty far from reality as it is (which is fine, I don't necessarily look for realism in TV), but he's so over the top.

I took classes at Second City and have done several shows in their "studio theater," Donny's Skybox, as well as a few showcases on the Second City e.t.c. stage. They put up some great shows on the main and e.t.c. stages all the time.

Classic...k... And I'm sure glad the show never made it into the age of hip-hop. The thought of Klugman realizing the error of his ways, embracing the "poetry of the streets" and ending the episode with "My name's Quincy Quincy and I'm here to say..." evokes Caruso-level diahrrea.

I wish all the segments were still on YouTube. The dialogue was great. Someone on YouTube commented that it sounded more like outdated '60s hippie-speak than anything an actual punk-rock fan would say.

"Jack", "Old_Davy" and "Eva" are all pseudonyms for Gabriele Huber. Check you site stats. All three of those names will have Austrian i.p. addresses. After this comment posts, Huber will change over to a proxy server to disguise her location. Huber is one sick, deranged woman.

Don't fret though. Any time and every time a blog mentions the words "david caruso" Gabriele Huber hi jacks the comments section so she can post something negative about David Caruso. She's also using the name "Jack" on the Hot Momma Gossip blog.

Great piece again! FTR, Gabriele, posting here as Eva, isn't a Caruso hater; she's a Caruso obsessor. Her obsession did a 180 degree when he rejected her sexual advances in South Beach in '06. She has twice traveled from Austria to Florida and then to LA last summer, first as a love obsessor, then to kill him and his compansion(according to her death-threat letters). She never made it to LA; authorities detained her in Mexico. Her writings beg for psychoanalysis.

Caruso's "non-fans" that you refer to is one person, Gabriele Huber who is Caruso's indicted Austrian stalker. Arrested last summer for threatening to murder the actor and his companion, she has been denied entry into the US. We, the internet public, therefore find ourselves on the receiving end of her Internet defamation campaign against Caruso which she wages from Austria.

Sure Caruso has his detractors, but Gabriele Huber is the only "non-fan" that has taken her hatred of the actor to a whole new level.
