So, like, where are the King Crimson links? I've never heard anything off of Red. Always liked the cover and though, hmm...but never actually seen a reasonably priced used copy so's I can take a chance on it.

Oops, forgot to say Fuck yeah!!! regarding your story's set-up. I was never into D&D, never understood what it was all about, but love the descriptive narrative! Awesomely entertaining.

sorry there's just a link to a youtube fan-made video for "Red".
I actually have a pretty substantial King Crimson post in the works. Stay tuned for all kinds of Crimson action.

Will look forward to it. Thx.

Funny that you mentioned Red. Of all the King Crimson albums, that's the CD I pulled out 2 days ago for my car-listening pleasure. Aside from the whole being a great record, it has "Starless" on it, possibly the band's finest moment. It goes from the beautiful, mournful mellotron to terse, tension filled build to jazz explosion to four-on-the-floor rock finale.

Well worth your money and Tool owes a buttload of money to Fripp and crew for perfecting their template.

Hence Tool's asking KC to open for them in 2001. Boy, is "Red" a great song.

Back in my D&D (or more specifically, AD&D!) days, I insisted on playing every campaign with my neutral/evil cleric I named Derec.

    Derec the Cleric.

No wonder everyone wanted the DM to make sure I died each time.
