DavidMedsker · 1 year agoFrom the moment I heard it, this song and I were inseparable for the rest of my college life. I loved playing my 12" of it backwards just to hear everything going forwards. Never seen the Beavis clip, though. Sounds like I'm missing a good 'un.

Pup Don · 1 year agoNice review. Here's another little fun fact... the music is backmasked, as you mentioned, it was taken from their cover of the John Cale song "Gun" from their previous album "Through the Looking Glass". If you listen to it you'll recognize the horns and the drum roll easily. They basically took Gun, stripped it down to just a few elements, reversed it and then added some extra instruments. Brilliant!

Mark · 1 year agoGreat article and song choice. I think there's a problem with the upload though, all I'm getting are the first thirty seconds or so.

ken · 1 year agoAs a big Siouxie fan from back in the day, lemme tell you Jeff, put Twice Upon a Time on your Lala queue, it's a great overview of the key singles. I guarantee you'll recognize two or three tracks.

schlechterdrache71 · 1 year agoLoved Siouxsie Sioux back in the 80's, hell, I still do. There's just something about that voice that keeps drawing you in. It was amazing to watch their sound evolve. Always felt a bit at odds in high school though being all of 3 people out of 1100+ who even knew who she was.
