You commented on a Mix Six that Madness was "Too British" for the United States (I'm paraphrasing here). And while I really love Tenpole Tudor, I think the "Too British" label applies -- which could be why they had trouble making it across the pond.

There are so many great pop influences on that album it's scary. You've got McCartney, Queen, ELO, 10cc, Jellyfish just to name a few.

I can't believe that album by The Feeling came and went in America. To me, that album had some of the great pop songs of this decade. Their latest release didn't measure up, but that first CD should be considered a classic.

My favorite Rialto song is "Untouchable" from their first album. This mixtape is the shit though!
