Thanks for this. I've been Juliana Hatfield-curious for many years but never knew where to start.

I wasn't sure I even wanted to take a nibble at this artist I've never heard. But when I read the name "Andy Chase" I knew I'd have to download some samples. Really, given Andy's work on the Brookville albums, I am convinced he should be producing in the big leagues.

Excellent overview. I consider myself a fan and still saw some things I didn't know existed!

I was a total fair weather fan of Hatfield (i.e., Blake Babies, Become What You Are and Only Everything), but after reading this thorough Guide (and listening to the songs included), I'm definitely going to get some of her later albums.

This is a great write up! I'm a huge Jules fan and really enjoyed reading what you wrote. Though the nitpicker in me noticed "plane Jane" rather than "plain Jane", unless it was a play on your part.

    Well done!

Wow, I have been a fan since the Blakes and Lemonheads but this is by far the best overview/tribute I have ever seen, really impressive article, thank you!
