I've loved his music for years, and the only thing I would add is that "Guilty" from May Day is one of the best first tracks on a debut album ever by any artist.

Re: The Popdose Guide to Matthew Ryan

one of the truly great musicians around -- i hope more people become aware of him. in a just world, he'd be a household name, but then, in a just world, he wouldn't need to write the songs he writes.

G. Not even a Lenny Kravitz hater.

Caruso's methods makes him look like a drop out of the William Shatner School of Acting. Instead of overacting, Caruso underacts. Underacts almost to the point of being comatose. I wonder how many hours a day he practices taking off those sunglasses??

Re: The Popdose Guide to Matthew Ryan

The streaming player doesn't seem to like commas, so it's refusing to play "Rain, Rain, Rain," but it'll download just fine. And another artist I've never heard of before until Popdose. Thanks. I'll have to listen to these tracks when I have time to really LISTEN. From the snippets I heard, it sounds like they deserve full attention.

The link to "Return To Me" is broken.
