    Wow. This is just magnificent!

Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

Nanci Griffith is simply one of the best singer-songwriters ever.

I don't know if this is totally appropriate, but, I'll do some self-promotion here and let you know I posted a bootleg of hers a month ago. The link is still working.

Thank you so much for this. Nanci is a favorite of mine, and anything to get more people to listen to her is alright in my book.

Wow, thank you for this! I saw her live once and have just a few of her albums -- Other Voices, Other Rooms was my first. I didn't realize until now what a long recording history (and interesting life) she had.

I'm a huge Nanci fan, have been for years, and it's hard to imagine a more spot-on overview of her career. It's all been downhill for the past decade or so, but when she was good--and occasionally still, in concert--she's just incredible. Thanks for a great piece of work--and congrats on the return of the much-missed Jefito.

Incredible, and spot-on review of her career. Like many, I became an instant (and huge) fan upon hearing "Once In A Very Blue Moon", then seeing her as many times as I could, and each time being captivated by this wonderful artist. In retrospect, the MCA records have some strong material, but at the time, they felt like a betrayal, with only "Storms", and the beautiful 'It's A Hard Life' standing above the rest. There have been several questionable career moves (thankfully the dance remix album 'Nanci Griffith Revisited' - I kid you not - never saw the light of day beyond advance release), and to say that to follow her requires patience is an understatement, but I still approach each release with the hopes that she will return to the original magic..
