Tom is pretty cool finally and directly from you, 2 know a little bit about your preferences about JSS as singer... this soundtrack experience helps him a lot to got the tour with Journey a few years ... and in his tours til today - the track Stand Up And Shout is a extraordinarie moment to raise the public to show the magic of a great songwriting made by Sammy Hagar.

I hope that in a next future we can get more details about records that you made were you have a JSS on it.

I'd have to agree with you -- I can tell you that almost universally the nicest and most reasonable of those I worked with were the less successful ones.

Absolutely right -- Jeff Scott Soto did a few songs at one point (we had 3 singers, I think) -- Jeff was great -- I had used him before on other projects for backing vocals. Nice choice of ending quote. I've greatly enjoyed this series and glad that the b&b has turned out to be a lovely next chapter for you. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay there if I had that kind of $$ lying around, as I'm sure you make a fantastic breakfast.

I have really enjoyed this series, and I will miss seeing weekly updates until you get going again with whatever else you are considering writing. That quote is a perfect way to end this series, though, because it's true. Do you think the people that brought you in to produce were looking for any type of innovation, or simply to replicate past successes? If I had to guess, I'd say only your less-successful recordings were really meant to innovate.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your postings here. I sincerely hope that they can come up with a way for you to write more. May I suggest a track by track breakdown of your Greatest Hits and Misses (of course you have covered several of those in your previous postings)? I think a lot of us would enjoy that.

Would love to know the track listing for your "Greatest Hits and Misses" comp.

Also, I was under the impression that Jeff Scott Soto had done some work on the Rock Star film, as well. Is that true? If so, what was he like to work with?
